Dave Gunning is an avid collector of Vintage Nike sneakers.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, he started searching out his favorite Nike’s from his teenage years (late 80’s through mid 90’s) starting in 2003, and the his collection grew from there.
His collection currently tops out around 170 pairs, consisting mostly of Nike basketball and Jordan’s, but also Nike cross-training and running, as well as some vintage Reebok basketball.
He was kind to send us many pictures of his collection. These galleries include pictures of most of his deadstock/near deadstock, original Nike’s from 1988-1996 – they include some very rare gems....look for the 1989 Air Flight Low’s (wh & Blu), the 1990 Air Flights – w visable air sole (wh & blu), and 1992 Air Flight Huarache’s (wh, purp, blu) that were worn by the Michigan Fab 5.....just to mention a few.
