A classic by Nike 1972 marathon shoe ! looks a little bit like the Nike Moon shoe !
The true collector called it the : Marathoner !
Now for the info : Onitsuka Tiger on the 60's sold a lot of marathon 66% of the runners wore Marup. Bill bowerman and Onitsuka tiger introduced then a soft three layered nylon material and succeeded in making Marup with a nylon upper. The first world Nylon sneaker was Born !
After Nike was established the Marup nylon model was marketed and sold as the Nike Marathon :)
One of the first released sneaker by Nike in the early 70's !
