The Nike Air Pressure, is maybe one of the ugliest shoe in the basket ball industry released by Nike in the mid 80's...
Material : leather
Comes with a very specific huge plastic box, very design!
Comes with a pump accessory to pump the back of the shoe (as seen in the pics)
Extra cushion design on the ankle...the fact that the Nike shoe could inflate with air , gave more foot stability and control
A very heavy shoe...
Maybe at that time Nike wanted to give an answer to the classic and Famous Reebok Pump...or simply wanted basketball players to fly !

I bought these awesome shoes after paying a visit to the movies where i saw Back To The Future 2, way back in 1989. Marty wore special auto-laced Nikies. I passed a store and saw the Nike Air Pressure with a huge adverb of the movie I just saw. They were not exactly like in the movie but i didn't care and i bought them. Costed me a hefty 369 Dutch Guilders (approx. 170 Euro) and therewith the most expensive sportshoes i ever bought.
I did not wear them much so i still have them in mint condition, including the pump! I won't be using that pump again because i still remember that the pressure on the ankles is so tight that you can hardly walk if fully blown to the max.
Strange shoes if you look at them now, but i am going to wear them again starting today! They are heavy but so stable and comfortable, they are rock solid, so perfect for the coming winter!
edit:
I just remembered that these shoes have inlay airsoles! You can take them out, a very special construction!

My older brothers best friend had these shoes and I once saw a pair of them at a store called Marshalls in Chicago, IL when i was younger but they where like size 16 or plus. These are very heavy in weight but very plush, nice to pimp around in with some shorts...
